Instead of using a rattan ball preferred by neighboring countries, the Vietnamese version of Sepak Takraw is played with a missle resembling an elongated shuttlecock. The rules of the game are similar to Badminton except players may only use their head and feet to to get the shuttlecock over the net. Late in the day, the wide sidewalks of the city are often transformed into courts.
